The stand looks fabulous!
The aim of this poster is to show how the same layout looks by changing either the stamp set or the colours used. Many thanks to Jenny Roberts, one of my talented downline for the butterfly card which I cased from one she sent me as a birthday card - thanks Jen!
Paperific starts tomorrow - hope to see you there!

You stamp your image in Versamark on the paper and emboss with clear embossing powder, then brayer over the image and paper in dye ink of your choice - I've used Chocolate Chip here. Once you have done that, using a tissue wipe off the excess ink from the image as the embossing resists the ink and voila you have your finished image!
I made this one pretty simple as wanting to show off the paper - Greenhouse Gala. The yellow hue in this paper is the new colour Daffodil Delight.
Items used to create this are - Medallion stamp, Chocolate Chip inkpad, Versamark ink, clear embossing powder, heat gun, brayer, Greenhouse Gala DSP, So Saffron card and Chocolate Chip grosgrain ribbon (had to use it one more time before switching to Early Espresso in the new colour renovation!).
I've made 2 other versions - you'll see them on my poster at Paperific and I'll post some pics when we have set up the display.

I'm actually quite chuffed with this card! I love the colours - Real Red, Old Olive and Chocolate Chip, I love the layout and most of all I'm very pleased I have finally used this stamp set to make a card! Quite some time ago I saw a card made using this set and thought I just have to have that set. I think you can guess by now I definitely buy more stamp sets than I can get around to using!!!!! Mind you that is one of the great benefits of being a Stampin'Up! demonstrator - you get to buy lots of stamp sets and eventually get around to playing with them!
The stamp set used is Flower Fancy and much to my relief seeing as I have only just used it - this set is continuing on in the new 2010/2011 Stampin'Up! catalogue due out on Sept 1st.
If you would like to get your copy of this fabulous new catalogue my team will be selling them at the Paperific Paper Expo coming up this weekend August 27 - 29 at the Melbourne Showgrounds. For more information visit
.http://venus.webcity.com.au/~pap33139/ My team and I would love to say hello to you so do drop by our Stampin'Up! stand and get your new catalogue for just the show special of $10.

The shadow/background effect is created by stamping your first image using Versmark ink. You then build up the images stamping the test in colours of your choice. I think the effect is fabulous!
Cardstock used is Sahara Sand, Baja Breeze and Chocolate Chip. Inks are Versamark, Baja Breeze and Chocolate Chip. The Paper tool was used to distress the card edges, the matt pack for the paper pricking detail (good news too, in the new catalogue there is a separate paper piercer listed to buy!) and chocolate chip grosgrain ribbon to finish it all off. I love Choc Chip ribbon and if you do too you had better stock up as it will not be available in the new catalogue due out Sept 1st. Please email me if you would like to make an order.

Next time I am back on I will post some of the cards I have made for our poster display at our stand at the upcoming Paperific Show here in Melbourne.

Hi there! Here is the first sample I have made for this months card class - Spinner Card.
I have always been intrigued as to how these cards are made and never attempted one as I thought it must be way too hard to create! I was pleasantly surprised once I sat down to think about it and with some help from Angie Kennedy Juda alias Chic'n Scratch - love her blog, I was able to create one!
This is such a cute interactive card. The stamped image rolls as you tilt the card from side to side. My husband was even impressed and that is high praise indeed for him to play with one of my creations!!!!
If you would like to learn how to create this type of card then book into my class. Thursday August 19 at 7.30pm and Sunday August 22 at 1pm. Cost is $15 to make 2 cards - one to keep as a sample and one to give away!
I am going to make heaps more as they are so cute!
