Triple Time Stamping

Hi! Sorry for the break in posts but I am away on holidays. Thank goodness for technology! Here is one more of my triple time stamping samples from my recent class.

I decided to try this technique on a square card and here is the result. I also used the illuminate pad from the Holiday catalogue to stamp the swirls from the Creative Elements set. The butterflies are from Creative Elements and Papillion Potpourri.

I also experimented with the illuminate inkpad by overstamping with it. Using the Stamp-a-ma-jig I overstamped the sentiment with the illuminate ink. You can see it a bit better in the photo below.

See how it gives the image a lovely shimmer - gorgeous!!!!

Colours in ink and card used are Tempting turquoise, Rich Razzleberry and Pumpkin Pie, along with whisper White card.

Thanks for looking!

Holiday Frame

I had a play with the new Illuminate Glimmer inkpad from the new Holiday catalogue (page 23). I've actually done a few things with it and will show you in later posts. For this card I used the roller wheel Cheerful Christmas and rolled it across the illuminate inkpad. The ink adds a subtle silver glimmer to the image as you rotate the card in the light.

The Holiday Frame embossing folder was fussy cut out and then sprayed with platinum shimmer paint mixed with rubbing alcohol to go with the glimmer theme.

The Christmas tree is from the set Scentsational Season and was stamped in Gumball Green to match the folded card. Silver Sparkle glitter glue was added as a highlight to the tree.

I really need to add a star to the top of the tree to finish it off I think.

Thanks for visiting!

Dawn Olchefske CASE Quick & easy Card

I have just signed up to Dawn Olchefske's blog as I really like her style of card making and stamping. This card that I CASED was from one of her recent posts. You can see it here. I did this card with a few tweeks  to the design at my new catalogue launch last month and the ladies attending loved how quick and easy it was to make.

You could adapt this layout to any occasion card and use any of your patterned papers - a great way to use up some off cuts!

The Designer Series paper is Patio Party.

Cardstock -  Naturals White, Midnight Muse, Primrose Petals, Baja Breeze

Ink - Midnight Muse

Stamps - Perfectly Penned

Ribbon - Primrose Petals Stitched Satin ribbon

I love how everything co-ordinates so beautifully with Stampin'Up! products!

Oh, as an added bonus this month with Stampin'Up! you can earn a free spool of stitched satin ribbon when you spend $60 on Stampin'Up! goodies! You can choose from 5 different colours including the Primrose Petals ribbon in the card above. You can learn more here. Email me if you would like to make an order at
