New Catalogue Sneak Peek

This afternoon I received a lovely card containing photos from Convention from my demo buddy Julia Quinn in Queensland.  To thank her I had a play with some of my new 2014 - 2015 Catalogue stamp sets that I was given last week at Stampin'Up! Convention here in Melbourne. I'll show you Julia's lovely card in another post.

Here is my card.

It was a nice quick card to create and I hope Julia likes it!

Stamp sets are Well Worded ( This was Prize Patrol win! ) and Kinda Eclectic.

Inks - Cherry Cobbler, Daffodil Delight, Old Olive, Tangerine Tango

Card - Whisper White, Cherry Cobbler.

Cherry Cobbler chevron ribbon

Thanks for looking!

One Sheet Wonder Class - Summer Silhouettes

This post is mainly for my class ladies for them to refer to for their One Sheet Wonder cards. However feel free to CASE them for your own use.

We had a very busy class last night stamping our one sheet wonder page and then creating 9 cards, that's right 9 cards! Well done ladies for a terrific effort!

The class technique sheet gave everyone the measurements, the photos are for future reference to layouts. I love these card sketches and you could use them to create a single card any time using a small decorated card piece to match the layout.

So here we go!

There you it!

I am teaching this class again tomorrow May 31 and Thursday June  5 if you are interested in attending.

I'd like to thank Patsy Waggoner for her inspiration for this class. I have tweaked the cards to suit our Australian card sizes.

Have a great day!

Convention Day 3 continued!

Back for more? I'm so pleased to have you visiting my blog! The last post was getting a bit long so let's continue it here. I'll start off showing you the various display boards. There were some beautiful creations, just divine to look at and admire!

One of Shelli's projects.

Love the new papers and the new flower Bigz Big Shot die.

And here are some gorgeous Blendabilities samples made by Donna Williams.

Some of Carolyn Bennie's border stamps samples.

Afternoon saw Convention sadly drawing to a close, but not before a very informative session on Blendabilities by Stampin'Up! Vice President and demonstrator Pam Morgan. I cannot wait to play with this fantastic new product line from Stampin'Up! This photo of some of the colours just makes you want to start creating something fabulous! I have to admit I started stamping as I loved colouring in pictures!

I have to say I LOVE this new flower stamp! It's called Blended Bloom.
Look at the colour and detail of this design!
And Blendabilities are not just for colouring in outline stamps. Being alcohol markers they create permanent colour on our facetted buttons, rhinestones and pearls!!!!! Gorgeous!!!!!
And if there was not enough reasons so far to be a demonstrator for Stampin'Up!, here's another one! We all received the Blended Bloom stamp and a pack of Calypso Coral Blendabilities!!!!!

Well unfortunately all wonderful times do have to come to an end......... but now we can all start planning for the 2015 Inspire, Create, Share Event on the Gold Coast, Queensland, April 30 - May 2!

One last pic to share. The terrific Stampin'Up! team who gave us such a fun and energising event. Thankyou to everyone of you and thankyou Stampin'Up! for being such a generous and inspiring company to all of your demonstrators!

Stampin'Up! South Pacific Convention 2014 Day 3

The last day of Convention. Everyone dawdled into General Session after a fabulous party the night before. The update session of sales and performances for the last year was given a revamp by staging the information giving as a quiz show. Our panellists were Bonnie, Brian and Emma and they were playing for points. The winner would earn the demonstrators with the
selected colour wrist band a prize. I was cheering for Emma as she was representing those of us holding a Strawberry Slush wrist band!

It was a very informative and fun session. And when the final results came in Brian won, pipping Emma at the post, winning a great Stampin'Up! prize pack for his demonstrators. Guess what second and third places won prizes too!!!!!!! Here I am with my yummy pack of goodies! Stamp set, ribbon and framelits!

Off to our last Inspire, Create, Share workshop but wait, there's more to be had! Another all attendee giveaway, the new Eclectic Paper Piercing pack. Love the star images in this pack! Here's Shannon passing out our gifts.

Now to show you the share boards! sit back and browse!

O
I can see one of my swaps on the board below!

And lucky last share board!

I'll be back with more in my next post with photos of the displays and Blendabilities!
Cheers

Stampin'Up! South Pacific Convention Day 2

Now on to Day 2 of the Australian / New Zealand  Stampin'Up! Convention. The day commenced with one of our favourites sessions - Shelli sharing her creations with us and stamping her designs on stage.

And here are some of the items she shared with us.

I wish I had a better shot of this card as it was absolutely gorgeous. Typical Shelli style!

Following Shelli we were privileged to have Sara Douglas, Shelli and Stirling's daughter on her first trip to a South Pacific Convention, share Project Life with us.

I am looking forward to having a real go with this new product to the Stampin'Up! range. It is such an easy way to store your memories and special times. Bring it on!!!!!

Best news ever after Sara's presentation, an all attendee giveaway!!

Todays Inspire, Create, Share Workshop saw us making a lovely card holder and cards using the other stamp set included in our registration pack. A really fun project!

The afternoon was a series of breakout classes. I loved Bonnie's class, we got the full low down on her recent engagement!

Then it was time to get ready for Awards Night and the Stampin'Up! Afterparty featuring the Abba Tribute band Bjorn Again!

Julia Quinn and myself at the After Party.

It was a fantastic night of dancing and singing! The photo booth got a good work out and was lots of fun !
One more day to share memories and photos so do check out my next post very soon.

Cheers,

Janine
