Tri-shutter Card with Sale-a-bration Irresistably Yours Designer Series Paper

I love this time of year when Sale-a-bration is in full swing and we can earn free Sale-a-bration goodies for every $90 (Aust) spent on Stampin'Up! products. This year there is a great choice of exclusive stamp sets, papers. embellishments, Project Life kit and packs of Blendabilities.

One of the packs of papers is the Irresistibly Yours Designer Series Paper. To look at it the card/paper looks all white. On closer inspection you can see a glossy embossed pattern on each 12x12 card. The cool thing about this card is it is designed to be coloured over to create lovely effects like on my tri-shutter card below.

This card will be one we will make in my class sessions this year. I will be commencing classes again in February.

Dates - Thursday February 26th 7.30pm
             Saturday February 28th 1.30pm
             Thursday March 5th 7.30pm

Cost - $20 all materials included plus instruction sheet

Classes are held in Mt. Waverley.

Email me to book your place - jannic@bigpond.com

Remember you can earn this 12x12 card pack of 12 sheets free for every $90 order you place during Sale-a-bration which runs until March 31st.

Cheers

Bow Builder Punch Card

January is birthday month in our household, so I'd like to share the card I made for my eldest son for his birthday. I used the new Bow Builder punch from the new Stampin'Up! Occasions Catalogue. It was so much fun to use and made all the more easier by watching the associated Stampin'Up! video.

Here's my card.

I based my card on the sample in the Occasions catalogue but decided I wanted the bows to look like mens bow ties so I added the extra side strips. These are just extra centre wrap punch pieces as you get an extra one left over after creating your bows.

To see how to use the punch and create your bows watch this video by Stampin'Up!

The paper is a great new Designer Series Paper Stack called Adventure Bound. This stack has a great variety of masculine and outdoor designs/photos.

Items used to create this card were -

Stamps - Balloon Bash
Ink - Craft white inkpad
Card - Sahara Sand, Cajun Craze, Early Espresso
Paper - Adventure Bound Designer Series paper stack
Punch - Bow Builder punch

I hope you have some fun using this punch creating some great cards and gift wrapping embellishments!

Cheers!

Janine
