Stampin'Up! Holiday Catalogue Starts Tomorrow!

Tomorrow you can log into my Stampin'Up! webpage and check out the gorgeous new Holiday 2015 catalogue. It is crammed full of fabulous kits, bundle specials and the pretiiest papers and stamp sets!

Here is sneak peek of some of the cards I made for our display at Paperific over the weekend.

I love the Designer series Papers in this catalogue! They are sooooo Christmassy! I made a series of cards highlighting the lovely Season of Cheer DSP 139590. The paper is the highlight of the card and all that was needed to finish the card was a sentiment. All the cards are made with folded Thick Whisper White cardstock. Another sneak peek for you in the card above - the versatile new Curvy Corner Trio Punch 139683.

Here some more of the cards I created in the series.

As I said I love the papers! What do you think?

Another sneak peek with the card above - the Delicate Ornaments Thinlit dies.  You are going to want these on your wishlist along with the matching stamp set - Embellished Ornaments. The papers mix and match so well with current Christmas stamp sets and of course there are co-ordinating stamps in the new Holiday Catalogue.

This card below is my favourite. It feels so Christmassy - is there such a word?

So some very easy cards to create and isn't that what we need at Christmas when we have so many cards to make? Foldd your base card, add a matt and your lovely paper, your sentiment and a bit of bling and you are DONE!

I'll look forward to sharing more of my cards with you soon! Enjoy the new Holiday catalogue! And remember you can always order online in my Stampin'Up! store.

Six Sided Sampler Card Revamp Using 2015 Stampin'Up Designer Series Paper

I was going through my piles of cards from past years ( and yes I do have quite a few piles! )and I came across this card. I did this as a class card last year.

So I decided it needed a revamp using current 2015 Designer Series papers as I have always liked this layout and I love the new paper stacks that are available in the new Annual Catalogue. Here is my updated card using the paper stack Pretty Petals.

This is a quick card to create, cut your A4 card down to A5, fold in half. Cut the matt 14.3x10cm, Punch out your hexagon pieces from Designer Series Paper, punch hexagon piece out of matt. On scrap neutral card stamp your greeting, position under punched out section of matt and adhere with Dimensionals. Adhere patterned shape pieces some with Dimensionals others straight onto card with adhesive. Adhere matt to folded card with Dimensionals. Finish off with Rhinestone Basic Jewels.

Hope you enjoy creating this card.

August Card Technique Class Corner Pop Up Card

Sorry for the delay in getting this months class card up on display. The mojo went a bit AWOL there for awhile  - you know how it happens sometimes. Well back on deck now and I can show you my sample card for class. I did have a sample made but I wasn't overly happy with the colour combination so I did not want to post it here, hence the delay.

So here is my August Card Technique class sample card, it is a Corner Pop Up card.  The technique comes from a tutorial I bought from Debbie Henderson, a US Stampin'Up! demonstrator.

One of my best friends is celebrating her 50th birthday this weekend so I have created a corner pop up card for her.

If this card style is one you would like to learn, then here are my class dates for this month. These are my august classes but they are being held in September due to my commitments at Paperific during the last few days of August.

Dates are :-  Thursday 3rd September 7.30pm
                    Friday 4th September 10am
                    Tuesday 8th September 10am
                    Saturday 12th September 1.30pm

Class fee is $20 and includes all materials and instructions.

Email me - to book your place.

I hope to see you in one of my classes!

Quick & Easy Washi Tape cards

If you are a regular follower of my blog you will know I love creating quick and easy cards. I saw this idea on Pinterest and decided to have a play myself. I can't find the source of my inspiration but I thankyou for sharing your idea with the papercrafting world!

I have made a whole batch of these cards to use as thankyou cards for my customers plus I have done this style of card a couple of times in workshops too. My customers have loved creating them.

The card below uses the 2014 - 2016 In Colour Designer washi tape.

These two use the Bohemian Designer washi tape. It is always amazing to see how different colour backgrounds create different effects. Which do you prefer?

The last one to share with you was created using the lovely bright Cherry on top Designer washi tape.

These really are quick and easy to create and very portable! On a recent overnight stay away I knew I would have a bit of downtime so I packed my washi tapes, precut Whisper White card, scissors and I was all set to create as many washi matts as I wanted!

I have done other cards adding a sequin either side of the sentiment rather than the punched Itty Bitty Accent flower. Any of the current sequin mixes that Stampin'Up! have at the moment work really well and add the necessary bling to the card very simply!

Also I have done cards adding a few extra rows of washi tape up in the right hand corner. It looks good if you are not a fan of the clean & simple style card.

I hope you like my cards and I'd love to hear how your washi tape creations turn out. Also this card layout would work equally well using all those leftover strips of Designer Series Paper that we all end up with!

Enjoy and cheers!

If you would like to order  any of the items used to create the cards above click on the pics below to be directed to my online Stampin'Up! store.

Christmas Step Panel Card Using Stampin'Up! Festival of Trees

Class time and this cute little Christmas card has my class participants in raptures! They have all loved creating it and it has caught me by surprise as I have run out of the lovely Designer series Paper and buttons used to create it.

This is a smaller step panel card than other step panel cards found on Pinterest. You could whisk a whole batch of these very quickly and be all ready for Christmas.

I have one more session of this class available and there are a couple of places left for it. So if you would like to attend on Tuesday August 4th at 10am you can email me to book a spot. Classes are held in Mount Waverley.
