A sympathy card is something one never wants to keep on hand but unfortunately they are a necessity. I recently required one for one of dear friends who had lost her father and this is what I made.
If you are enjoying the new Blendabilities pens than this stamp set - Bloom with Hope will become one of your favourites as it has 5 images that can be coloured and blended with your Blendabilities. It is an hostess set so you will receive it for free if you make a $300 plus order or host a workshop. Email me if you would like to know more on how to get your hands on this lovely stamp set.
I coloured the flower using the Pumpkin Pie set of pens and the Daffodil Delight set for the flower centre. To make the flower "pop" more I outlined it with my Smoky Slate marker pen.
Card - Naturals White, Basic Black, Old Olive, Whisper White
Stamps - Bloom with Hope133949
Ink - Memento Black
Extras - Blendabilities in Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight and Old Olive, Smoky slate Stampn'Write marker, Decorative dots embossing folder, Modern Label punch
I like my card, simple and understated, just right for a sad occasion.
Until next time,
Janine
