After each months class I share with you the cards my class ladies made during my card monthly class. This acts as a great referral for them to remember the cards they made should they happen to give away one of their class cards. And we all know that happens from time to time when you get caught short for a card for a special occasion!
This month we created cards based around the Wetlands stamp set 126695.
Here is the first card. A good card for a male recipient don't you think? Also a great layout to use for so many occasion cards.
Her's the second card. I love this one for it's clean and simple design. This card was CASE'd from one made by Julia Carmichael a West Australian demonstrator and I made a couple of changes to it.
Card number three was a gatefold card. I love Pinterest for it's ability to showcase so many talented cardmakers creations. So I do admit that this is another CASE'd card, this time from a card on Pinterest by Sara Rayner. Thanks for sharing your card Sara. Again a few subtle changes to the original card.
Stampin'Up!'s pennant framelits make creating those banners sooooo easy!
Now for card number 4! Another clean and simple style. Also quick and easy as it is made using Stampin'Up! whisper white notelets which come pre-scored and with matching envelope.
The new stamp set "Work of Art" 134111 makes creating this card a doddle!
And finally our last card - busy month this class 5 cards made!
This one used the Thinlit Circle card frame to make the base.
I got the basic idea for this one from Anna Schach. Her card was a lot more detailed and I wanted a quicker version for my class ladies to create. See Anna's card here. I also showed them how to create the extra flap on their swing card which I added onto my creation.
I hope you enjoyed seeing our class cards. If you would ever like to join our group of monthly card makers please email me to book your self a spot. My email is jannic@bigpond.com Classes are held in Mt. Waverley, Melbourne.
Thanks for looking! Until next post!
Cheers!
Janine
What an interesting set of cards. Those images remind me of my youth in Minnesota. I'm so glad to have found you through the SYD Online Card Class. Can't wait to begin...
