My big, brown box of Stampin'Up! preorder goodies arrived yesterday and I have been busy playing. I've got loads of new cards to show you but where to start? I think with my favourite creation so far!
When we had our Managers Reception at Convention Stampin'Up! gave us a beautiful stamp set fro the new 2015 Catalogue titled "Awesomely Artistic" 139950is the code you need for ordering when the new catalogue goes "live"on June 2nd. This stamp set would rate as my favourite from the new catalogue so how lovely of Stampin'Up! to have chosen that set as our gift!
My "sister" demonstrator Julia whom I shared a room with at Convention made me a pretty card using this set and I will show it off to you in another post. Here is the card I made Julia to thank her for being a terrific roomie and for spending her Convention time with me.
I am rather keen on making Crayon Resist cards at the moment. You may have seen the one I did last month using Four Feathers stamp set. I thought I'd give it a go with this new set and I am quite pleased with how it turned out.
I was going to put a sentiment on the card front but it just did not look balanced so I left it plain and added the "Friend framed sentiment to the inside of the card. This stamp set has so many lovely images - dragonfly, two fern frond stamps, flowers, a great little splatter image plus a frame stamp that works with one of the Project Life framelit sets.
When you get your new catalogue make sure you have a good look at this lovely set of stamps.
Cardstock is Mossy Meadow, Basic Black and Whisper White
Inks are Mossy Meadow, Hello Honey, Lost Lagoon, and Staz-On black
Extras - white crayon, tissues
I'll be back with more new creations over the next few days.
Cheers!
Janine
