When stuck for inspiration I will often look back at cards I have created in the past to see if I can rejig them with current Stampin'Up! products. I made a card last year using the hexagon punch and layering different DSP pieces on the card front around a punched out hexagon. I really wanted to recreate this card using some of the lovely new Designer Series Papers in this years annual catalogue.
After a bit of experimentation I was finally happy with the result I got from using the Layering Squares framelits and Pop of Pink Speciality Designer series papers. What do you think?
Here is a closer view of the punched out section. The folded card base is Basic Black with a Whisper White layer under the popped up Melon Mambo card front layer.
The sentiment came from Perfectly Wrapped stamp set. The size of the framelit I used was 1 1/2 inches.
You can see my hexagon version here.
Thanks for stopping by my blog and I hope to be back with more creations soon.
Cheers!
