Over the next few posts I will share with you the cards created in my February Double Z- Fold classes. To begin I have my Moon Baby card which I made for the class but then once our new grandchild had arrived and we all knew if we had a boy or girl, I made another version more appropriate for our gorgeous grand daughter.
The card below is my original version. I had a lovely time colouring the images with the Stampin'Up! new watercolour pencils and blending the colours using a blender pen. The baby jumpsuit has been coloured in using the Bermuda Bay pencil - a good gender neutral colour.
Now here is my grand daughters card. The jumpsuit is now coloured in using Melon Mambo pencil.
A bit of fussy cutting was required but I find fussy cutting like colouring to be a relaxing past time. The images were stamped on watercolour card with black Staz-On ink. The next few images give a more detailed view of the card. The card base is Night of Navy and the matts are Marina Mist card.
The cut out images were adhered to the card base using Stampin'Up! dimensionals to make them pop off the page. I love the sayings in this cute stamp set! You will find this set in the Occasions catalogue page 17 and it comes in red rubber either as woodmount or clearmount.
Come by again soon to see the rest of my class samples.
Cheers!
Janine
