The Remarkable You stamp set is another set I have had sitting on my desk awaiting ink since this time last year when I chose it as one of my free stamp sets for recruiting during Sale-a-bration. I decided to get it as I had an idea for one of my classes using this set but unfortunately that class never eventuated.
So my challenge continues - to use all the stamps on my desk before the next new Annual catalogue is released. I have seen many versions of watercolour pencil backgrounds so decided to give that technique a try and incorporate the Remarkable You stamp set as well.
The aim is to randomly scribble the watercolour pencils across your neutral card then blend the colour with blender pen or aquapainter. Once dry stamp your chosen image over the top using Staz -On black ink.
The added bling is the silver metallic shapes, my new go to for when I want a bit of something extra on my cards.
I will definitely be giving this technique another try in the future. Have you tried it yet?
Wishing you a terrific day!
Cheers!
Janine
