Elegant Eggplant Monotones

Recently I couldn't get to sleep so sat at my desk and randomly started stamping with my latest new stamp set - Established Elegance. I randomly stamped the images on a piece of Very Vanilla, doing Stampin'Off for some of them. I liked the stamped piece so much I could not bring myself to cut it down so created a card around it!

I really like the monotone look and so kept with that for the rest of the card by mounting the stamped card onto folded Elegant Eggplant card that had been stamped in the same colour ink using the blossom stamp from the Elements of Style set.

Before adhering the stamped piece I added three layers of ribbon around the card. There is Very Vanilla satin ribbon, topped with Elegant Eggplant scallop ribbon and finally Very Vanilla narrow grosgrain on top. A different but very effective way to add texture to your creation!

Finally I restamped a couple of the images on scrap card, cut them out and popped them up using Dimensionals. a couple of pearl accents on the crowns and my card was done and I was able to go to bed and sleep!!!!
